Group Improv Belly Dance

Thursdays, 7pm – 8pm
The Crescent Collective, 911 Old Liverpool Road, Liverpool, NY, or Virtually (see below)
Learn the basics of Group Improvisational Belly Dance! In this class we’ll learn foundational dance movements inspired by the folkloric dances of the Middle East, North Africa, and Spain. Then, we’ll use those movements to dance together in a follow-the-leader improvisational style (no choreographies to memorize!). Beginner-friendly, all levels welcome!

BRING A FRIEND FOR FREE! When you bring a friend to class, they get their first class free! Offer applies if your friend is a new student and you’re bringing them to their first class. Just enter your friend’s name and email when you register!

July’s Theme is Fluid Movements!

This month, we’ll focus on movement vocabulary with a fluid feel (think: undulations, figure 8s, and circles). We’ll then use those movements to dance in formation, and then add zills (aka, finger cymbals)!

(Available Dates: 7/28). $15 per class.
